He's in a 8L Evolve 8 nano tank but it's not his permanent home. We're probably taking him back to Jon some time soon. He's too aggressive for my smaller tanks and I'm afraid he'll get bloat if he's in the big tank with the pigs... :/ I'd love to keep him because he's really outgoing and super active.

My 27 has several 2" cichlids, a pair of albino bristlenose plecos, a rubber pleco, one 2" green dragon pleco, one black calvus, one julie, one male 4" EBJD and a bunch of plants. Yes, everyone has told me that everything is wrong about this tank (species mix/water parameters) BUT everyone gets along fine and the ecosystem is stable and healthy  The Goby is territorial and immediately went for the bottom-dwellers...Jon says he should calm down and be OK but I'm too scared to put him back in with anyone else. This tank is basically a transitional area for smaller cichlids to grow before they move to the 210. I think a larger tank could hold one male goby with other Tang. fish like Calvus (they'll avoid/hide) and the comps would stay higher in the water column... |

3 gobies, 6 calvus 2 julis in my 72. My gobies look like they may spawn soon if you are interested in any fry if they do spawn ill let you know

Well I would be doing a 55. I was looking at that fish in the pics Jon posted but he doesnt have anymore. Ihave a pair up for sale! lol but i live in huntsville. they are adult size and have breed once, missed the fry from them though =(.. the ones i have are "Tanganicodus irsacae Ikola" here is a pic of the male =) I love mine but only have room fro 1 adult pair! the 2 pairs dont do good together in one tank! lol...
