Just wanted to let you all know I've been inactive and probably will be for a week or so. I sprained my ankle, I'm hoping that nothing broke. In turn it's difficult to get to the computer.

Sorry to hear that. Hope it isn't broke too. If it stays swollen more than 24 hours, especially if you ice it and elevate it, it is very possible, but only an x-ray after swelling subsides will tell the tale for sure. Prop it up and get on the computer again when you can. Keep us posted please.

thanks, yeah it's been nearly 48 hours and still swollen. I've kept it propped up and ice it with 15 min intervals. Basically just using the RICE method. I will see a specialist this week, hopefully lol.
Though I wounder if any members have Riccai (crystalwort) ... I'm trying to get a bunch or two of it... Would rather pay a member here. Though I could always go to aquabid. Anywho Have a good one... I'm hoping off here for now.

Yep, you need an x-ray.
Sorry, no crystalwort, but there are several members here besides me with plants. Re-post the question again tomorrow if no response tonight. Since you do plants......got any, or know of anyone, with any polysperma Hygro. ?

Not feeling any better yet. That and now I have a cold. Doc put me in a boot (woohoo)... though now I have more pain from more weight on it. Took almost exactly 7 days for the swelling to decrease to mostly gone state.
Due to my head splitting right now.. cichlids hungry and some maintance on my planted guppy tank that needs to be done. I'll be back on later.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good news is once you dont have any ligaments left, you can be like me and sprain your ankle and keep on walking like nothing happened. Best thing you can do is get a bucket full of ice, add water, and 10 min in 10 min out. Take fish oil and advil. Good luck healing.
