This is kind of two threads in one. First was wondering if anyone else here is the nikon d3000 and what do you think of it? What settings have you tried and like the best for fish photos or any other types of photos?
Second does anyone else save all there fish pics that they have taken besides me? Even the ones you dont have anymore. If so how do you all organize them? Myself i just have a folder labled Gallery and subfolders in that with each type of fish. Was wondering if there was a program or something that would be better for this. I use photobucket, but only so i can upload my pics elsewere. There albums kinda blow and the website is extremely slow or messed up at times.
Thanks for your help.

photobucket is the easiest if i know i am going to be sharing the photo on a forum.
i end up taking many, many, many times more than i ever post. that is the nature of fish and (really) all photography. i then peruse for the best, then save those in web format with my own software (the compression and resizing on photobucket and other online sites is pretty terrible). then i upload to photosucket.

I recommend you give Google's free photo management tool, Picasa, a try. It's very popular, has some built-in editing features, and the price is perfect. download.cnet.com/Picasa/3000-2193_4-10160334.htmlI keep all my old photos. I keep overflowing hard drives. For sharing, I have a smugmug.com account, which I've had for several years and am very happy with.
