I'm definitely going to need ya'lls help because they are in a tank with a bunch of calvus and I know I'll need to move them at some point. How long should I wait to move the mom and dad?

I pulled mom ,not dad. I put mom in one of the new fry holders that kens fish.com sells Here is a link. www.kensfish.com/product3708.htmlThey are really cool the use the tanks water like a hob filter , I will add a pic from home later on once I am home.. If the mom's pits some eggs when u catch her just add the in the holding tank she should pick them back up. Also goby normally take turns holding the fry about half way during the holding process. I just have the mom hold a little longer then have her spit the fry once they can half way swim around with the egg sacks. This way I don't have to tumble them. I then get mom eattng again in another holding tank so she can get her strength back, then add her back to the tank... Just how I do it. She had about 6-9 fry. The goby eggs are huge! Compared to most tangs... Lol they look like frontosa eggs.

Hmm... could I just use one of the net breeders that hang on the inside of the tank?

Well I'm pretty confused now...I saw her eat a couple small pieces of flake today so I thought maybe she swallowed the eggs. BUT...it still looks like she's holding so I'm really confused.

I had a yellow lab that would eat when she was holding. Surprised me when she would spit a big group of fry.

holding females will sometimes take a little food but from my understanding its actually for the fry in her mouth and this is usually when they are close to spitting them anyways.
