. She got a good deal on amazon, probably wasn't any more than the magic one, but yes you have to push it around. She wanted one that was all-metal and wouldn't quit working like every plastic vacuum we've ever bought. I'm not sure it was worth it, but Happy Wife = Happy Life.

I would sweep and 2 hrs later I would be walking on dog hair. It about drove me nuts.
