thanks alot angel. Do they ever crossbreed? I'm not sure exctly which specific breeds i have but they are all cichilids.

Crossbreeding does happen, but it's not something we like to have happen. The fish are then impossible to sell, trade or give away. If you're going to keep them all forever then it wouldn't matter I suppose.

Give us your fish list, and we can give you odds. They prefer to breed with their own species. The problem comes when you have similar species, or sometimes one dominant male that will breed with anything. If you are scared get a couple of synodontis and the fry won't make it more than a couple of days.
