I'm going to use this post for two different reasons. First I have never shared any pictures of my WC White Calvus male so I got a few decent pictures today, even though I am finding it extremely hard taking photos through a bowfront.
Ok now for part two. Last and through out the day today I had notice my WC male out over the shell bed and thought it was kind of strange since he usually stayed in the lace rock structure in the middle of the tank. Thought it was really strange when I walked up to the front of the tank and he didn't move. He is usually rather skiddish and swims away before you get any were near the front. Well it started to make sense at lunch time today when I watched from close up a little longer and noticed one of my small F1 White Calvus was in the shell. I'm taking a guess here, but i would say there is a good chance that they spawned. If so this would be my first Calvus spawn let alone my first Tang spawn EVER, so I would be pretty stoked if it did happen. This is what i'm worried about. Right now in the tank they are in are 6 White Calvus total, 1 sysno jaguar 2" and 2 BN. I do have a cycled 20g tall that is empty right now, but not sure if I should move them or when, should I move the male and female with the fry, just the female and fry or just the fry. When should I move them? This is my biggest problem. I leave this coming Monday to goto Maryland for my elbow surgery and will be gone for 12 days and when I do get back I won't beable to use my right arm for to much till it heals up some. I want to save and raise as many as these fry as possible, but not really sure what my options are and what the best option would be. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Also if you want to come help me when I get home from surgery let me know.....lol j/k. Should be pretty funny though watching me try to clean tanks and do water changes with one arm.
