Greetings to all !
Your board has actively worked for a new location for the Spring swap/meet for 2012. There has been a lot of time and energy spent to achieve, acquire, and secure us a location that we hope will be acceptable to most, if not all of you.
We realize we have found a location and had various dates to choose from in the past, and allowed you all to vote for the most popular date, but this time we have a limited date selection and will be unable to allow a vote to choose the date.
Most of you in previous threads had an interest in an outside event with a location for our children to be entertained as well, thus we believe we have found the best of both worlds, for now.
Of course we may change the location again as the future moves forward.
For now here are the big plans.

@ the Charlie Daniels Recreation Park
in Mt. Juliet, TN
hours 1p.m. to 5 p.m.
This will be an outdoor event and under a covered pavilion with several picnic tables, and a convenient play ground nearby.
There is also discussion among your board members that since there is a grill area, that the club provide a portion of a meal, such as hamburgers and/or hotdogs, with charcoal to cook them, and allow all of the rest of you to bring covered dishes, drinks, and deserts for the rest of us.
Before we start a thread to entertain and commit to this idea, we would like some input from, you all, here, to know if this is what you all want to do. Please post your responses so we know who is interested in participating.
We believe in May that the weather will be warm enough for this first outside activity for us and our fish, but there could be rain, and if so we will just have to wing it, as the inside area is just way to expensive at this location for our use @ the present time.
There is a playground area for the children near this pavilion.
