Thank you board members for the outstanding job you are doing!!!!!! Keep up the great work Jess! IMO we should be trying to locate a permanent location for the swaps instead of moving all over the place.

I think the location sounds good. We won't make it because I'll have a 3 week old baby but I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

This place has a very nice indoor facility as well. We need to raise enough money at this swap to cover the next. With auction, new members, etc. maybe we can. I am sure there are a couple other creative ways to make a little extra cash.
I agree we need to find one good place and keep it there. This may not be it, but we had time constraints and a budget so we did the best we could. I think it will be excellent and worth the drive. Main problem with Davidson County(Nashville) parks is that some can be pretty sketchy(gang activity).
But anyway, it was something we had to book early so we can advertise it properly. If we debate and wait, everywhere will get booked and 2 weeks isn't enough time to get the word out. So if seems we mishandled it, I apologize. We did the best we could.
If you have thoughts on how it could have been done better send them to Rick Easterly. You can PM, text, email, call after 10pm, or wait on his doorstep.

I'm looking forward to my first MCAA swap. I got some crap (uh, I mean valuable supplies) to unload (uh, I mean pass on) to other lucky club members. ;D

Im looking forward to the swap also. Dont really thing ill be selling/trading/buying unless i see some nice haps/peacocks or a must have have. Will just mainly be going to see people i havent seen from last swap and meet some new friends.

You watch I say I'm not shopping for anything but I bet you I spend at least another $100 or more like I did last year. I think I bought half of the auction items just cause it was fun bidding.

I just googled the park and it looks great. We're planning on coming, unless something prevents it. Is there a list started yet of fish that will be auctioned? Also do the proceeds from the auctions go to the club or individual's or both?

I'll probably try to bring some multi fry for the auction -- For some reason I have fewer julie fry than I thought, so I might not have enough of them to auction.

This swap/meet is 2 months out. I am hoping all have time enough to plan for it and be off work or free to join us.
And,...it doesn't matter if you have 1 fish or a dozen or a few fry for the auction. All will make it more fun if you all can bring whatever you have.
To answer the question about a split of $........
