Is anyone planning to bring fish that are not cichlids? I am not familiar with all species, though I assumed the previous lists that I have reviewed are mostly cichlids
I am looking for L144, true Chili Rasboras and Panda Corydoras (longfin or short)
(Can I even ask this here?) Is anyone able to order/locate those?

Is there any way to find out if someone has access to nano fish species? I am currently obsessing over a few varieties, none of which I can get in my local stores and I don't want to do the shipping thing if I can avoid it. I have no where else to look, in all honesty. My planted tank forum deals with mostly plants and though there is a dealer there who has some, again, I am trying to avoid shipping.
As for the Longfin albino plecos, the only difference is the color of the eyes? Is it fair or unfair to try and make arrangements prior to the meet to purchase, or is that something I should avoid as to not upset the rules or club members?

I have 1 male and 3 female L144's, but no fry to date. Maybe by the Fall swap/meet. FYI...The longfin form of BN Pleco's are found in several color morphs, including the Albino and Blue eyed L144's.
The shipping isn't to bad if you get fish or plants from sellers who have shipped before and know how to pack the items. If you find a seller of an item you want and the two of you can find a mutual way for you to get the fish and make the deal, you are more than free to pursue this avenue if desired, or you can use this forum and it's contacts and make arrangements to buy what you want from a willing seller and have them bring the fish or plants to the swap/meet for you. Our swap/meet is a bi-annual time for all of us to convene to have fun and enjoy each others company, but it is also a time to buy/sell/trade/and exchange among one another. We are a club, so we do encourage joining the club for an annual $15 due, but if you choose not to be a part of the club and want to sell, you need to pay a $5 fee to be allowed to sell. (Non-club members are all welcome to participate on the forum and @ the swap/meets as well though !!! )
I hope this explains your question. If not, please ask again.
All questions and hobbyists are welcomed, here on the forum, and @ the swap/meets.
We do have lots and lots of African hobbyists, but some are South American and some are community tank and planted tank hobbyists as well. In fact, there are several into the planted tanks, and we have speakers planned on May 20 to address the planted tank for the Cichlid and non-Cichlid tanks. We have a few, myself included, who have livebearers as well.
We are pleased you have ask and want you to continue to be an active part of our conversations.

does anyone have a ball park figure of how many are attending? I would be happy to bring something like a condiment package from Sam's club (large bottles of ketchup, mustard and relish) if you think it will be enough for all, or maybe one of the large boxes of individual bags of chips (the small bags you find in vending machines).
(Membership possibility is being considered and will proceed with that when a decision is made)
I am looking for the following fish: Longfin Albino BN Plecos Badis bengalensis (Dario dario) male and female Boraras brigitta (chili rasbora) Microdevario kubotai “Neon Yellow Microrasbora” Danio margaritatus “CPD/Galaxy Rasbora”

Anyone into salt water. I realize most are cichlid hobbiest. Just seeing if anyone has any salt coral setups and has some coral/inverts/fish they may want to swap or sell. I have a few Kenya trees I wouldn't mind trading for Mushrooms of any type/ color, also if all goes well I have a common cardinal I would like to get rid of. Not a big fan of thier huge eyes and wierd shaped bodies (picked it up in a full tank setup I got recently) I plan on checking out the swap since by then my main tank should be ICK free and I am not buying fish from The Auqarium Shop in Huntsville anymore (source of the Ick) , the next choice is to go to Nashville. Just curious. Attachments:

Things I've got I'd like to get rid of:
Huge piece of Mopani Driftwood (2) AC 110's without any media 48" Aqueon T5 light fixture (not HO)
I'd really like to just trade those items for fish or plants if anyone is interested.
