Wife picked up a 55 gal so we can get the green spotted puffer out of the main tank, but it had no silicone on the side seams. It didn't look like anyone removed it, and the guy we got it from never had it leak, but I was concerned and decided to remove all the silicone on the bottom and reseal it. Tonight I got to work and with a razor blade (not recomended without a holder as my thumb is now bruised) and removed the silicone along the bottom seam. Cleaned, vaccumed, and cleaned some more then got everything taped off the seams. Silicone was applied and started curring sooner than expected as I tried to go over an seam and you could tell it wanted to wad up. The tank is used and not a show tank, but it was cheap. Pictures tomorrow if it doesn't leak. If it does leak you might hear my scream from your house If all goes well I will paint the bottom trim then start planning the hood and stand. I have some left over flooring that should look nice, but we shall see.

Filled and everything looks good!
Plugged in the HOB filter, it ran for two minutes, and then turned off. Was looking forward to the t5 lights Charden was selling, but I am not scrambling to find a filtration system.
