Ok so for the past three days I have came home to all three of my Callichromis Rainbows dead....Two of which were in the circulation pump half gone and the other was just a little bit of bone behind the intake strainer. Now I also have a yellow fin caud missing.... Is there a serial killer in my tank? The gold comp has seemed very mysterious here lately!

Is it guarding eggs/fry? If so, those things are ferocious!

hum... a comp ,or calvus would finish the job. you might look forsomething in the tank trying to breed. i would turn off all the lights in teh room where the fish tank is sit in a chair in the dark room with just the tank light on ,and see if you can see someone acting crazy! fish are like people sometimes you get some that are nutts, killers, and are just plane retarded.

Well I do have a bunch of brevis but would they be able to do that much damage? Hum they rarely leave their shells, i would think not. my brevis seem ok around others. you could just have one fish in that tank that is a jerk. you will run in to that with alot of Males in a tank. I had a Gold Occie that would kill everything he could corner, so i had to take care of him =( After he killed 5 females i decided he was not going to live much longer and flushed him. just happens sometimes.
