It sure would be nice if a bunch of you could do this in your home towns like you all did once before. It was very helpful back then, and could help get the word out this week about our upcoming swap/meet next Sunday if several of you would step up to handle this for all of us !

I just added one to the HSV craigslist events section. When I add them to the for-sale/wanted area it gets flagged almost immediately, but both the club listing in "groups" and the swap meet ad in "events" that I put up last month survived .

I did not this time. I got one posted there last fall, but have not been there in a few months.

I had ask previously in another thread for someone to try to do this for us. I hope someone did !

If not, can someone go by there today or tomorrow and place it for the weekend ? All you have to do is copy a pic. of our logo onto your computer, transfer it to a paint designer on your computer and tell in writing around the logo about the time and location of the swap/meet.

I have the fliers made up for distributing to various members @ the swap/meet with a laminating page, for display in various retail stores in the members respective towns though.

I could be completely wrong, but does meetupdotcom have any applicability to the club? Seems like a pretty large segment of folks relocating to an area use it and it might be a member generator for us. Just my 2 cents.....

Meetup.com was popular for a little while, but haven't heard much about it lately. I went to one gathering of a different topic. I would say it would definitely have applicability.

Im talking to a girl on another forum now that somehow thinks Riftfish is my shop cause I had it in my signature, but anyways im trying to get her to join us here and on sunday. She is in AL and I believe she said Bermingham maybe I dont know but she said she wasnt to far from nashville. Waiting on her response
