thks Brian i use to help my dad when i was a kid in his shop when he was a furniture maker these stands are not covered with anything but you could put paneling on them and they would look good but you won`t find a stand any stronger any where then these. next time your coming to Fuzzys let me know and you can come by and see for your self.

I bet you could land a Chinook on that thing. How are you going to cover it? Or are you gonna leave it like it is?

im going to put a curtain rod over each opening and let the curtain hide the the FX-5 under it, this tank won`t be seen by very many people, the big tank im putting in the den will be the show tank all my other tanks are breeding tanks and not for looks. if i was as gifted as Fuzzy at makin those rock back grounds i would put one on this tank but guess i will settle for a painted blk one

got 3 coats of paint on it now and will let it dry for a few days before i set it in place and put the tank on it. darn it boring watchin paint dry

wish that stand and tank would mind like my dog does, i would snap my fingers and say get in that room and set up

Just be glad it doesn't mind like my dog. I'd snap my fingers and the stand would run off on a 3 day bender and come home covered in mud, fleas, and ticks.

i have to brag on my dog SAM he will take commands as far as he can hear my voice, im lucky he is a really good dog he will even do the blind retrieve you see the dogs on tv do.

i decided to drill the tank and use a sump and not use a FX-5 , i didn`t get the two 220 gal tanks but i did go to louisville wed and get a 135 gal that im going to drill as well and put it on the oak stand i got down by your Rick. i have several leads on more big tanks if any one is interested in one let me know
