Jess, The oscar looks OK from what I can see !! It may just be a female with a slight egg role ?? Is it eating anything at all ?? I think you said it had been used to live food ?? It may be just trying to wait you out to see if you will give in !! Let me know ?

It's eating and acting fine. Its anus just looks a little bigger or swollen than the other 2 I have in the tank. I've never had oscars before so idk what I'm doing. Lol.

Everything from what I can see looks fine ( which is somewhat limited but I am going with what you are saying too.. I would agree with Tradewatertropical..
All joking aside look at the poop.. if it is rich earthy brown and not white slimy and it is decent tube of poop and not real thin and again stringy then you have nothing to worry about.. If you are still concerned do like I suggested and give some food with extra ruffage like shrimp with shell on... many floating pellets contain feather fiber( check ingredients) that feather fiber is non digestible and acts like bran cereal does for us.. LOL I am laughing but dead on serious...

Kept many Oscars in times past. Can see both video's and it looks fine to me. I had mine look exactly the same before w/o problem. Can't tell you an absolute, so keep watch, but I believe all to be fine, based on your latest video of him/her. Be sure to vary their diet some. You know, pellets, frozen foods, and bugs from the back yard. Even earthworms after a rain are good. Just don't collect the worms from a driveway where oil residue is present and they have crawled thru all that.

Cool! I bought some flakes and frozen bloodworms yesterday. I'll try and find some nasty bugs in the backyard.

Ok... It's official... I'm PARANOID! The belly/anus region just looks more inflated than my others but it could be a visual trick b/c it's smaller than the others. Idk but if you guys say I'm crazy and it's alright, then I'm not going to worry about it anymore. Thanks all!
