That looks like a red fin or fire fin. Tell Greg to quit messing with his pics, that fish would have been just as awesome if he didn't up the red and blue. He does that with all of his stuff on aqua bid for no reason. He has great fish.

A quick opinion on enhancing photos......Changing the tint, temperature or any other word for color or definition of pattern TO ME is art. Beautiful art, in the case of my fave example of a photo artist, Mo Devlin. When I list fish for sale, I use my usual crummy lights or 5-6000K fluorescents, maybe a few remaining vita-lights and rarely, natural sunlight. I do not change ANYTHING regarding color or definition via the rainbow of digital enhancements available. The fish I sell are represented as they are. Naturally. And yes, often my incredibly poor photog skills cost me money in sales. I don't sell art. I sometimes sell fish. But I won't enhance the fish's color or definition in the sale pic and I won't use hormones or steroids or any other weird science to make a sale. Honestly, when a fish looks like the one in the pic attached, WHY WOULD YOU MESS WITH IT? Yes, some of the color from the substrate IS reflected into the fish. But use the same lights, the same substrate and when you photo the fish in the pic, your pic will look like mine-but probably with better photography skills than mine, even if it's your first day photoing fish! To each their own, but if I agree to buy a brightly colored fish, it had better look like that in real life. JMO. Attachments:

I just always have people asking me for the blue calvus they saw on aqua bid and I have to tell them I can't get it because I don't know of there being one.

I have had five different people ask me to get them some. I didn't know what they were talking about and then I saw pics a few months later on aquabid. Still didn't put it all together until i spoke with you on phone.
I have bought fish from Greg in the past, and I have had mixed results, but they all ate like pigs when I bought them.

What few pic's to date you have seen from me are just what my camera captures. IMHO one should not enhance the picture except for clarity or cropping. If colors are adjusted then it isn't what you took, but what you created.

Just got back from Gatlinburg and found white lab fry swimming around some rocks in the 10 gal tank. I'm not sure how many she had yet. It still looks like she's holding a few, and I only saw 3 or 4 fry hanging around the rocks. This just blew my mind. I bought these from Jon the day of the swap, and she's just a young thing herself. Also, the fry that are swimming around look fairly large too. She must have been holding for quite a while.

Its can take them awhile to completely spit them all. If she is looking rather skinny you could strip the rest and start feeding her again. If this is her first time holding to term you will prob jave 6-8 fry. As she gets bigger and more experienced holding her broods will get larger and larger also.

My Corydoras erhardti spawned on Sunday. And I have another batch of Red Head Tapajos that will be free swimming in the next few days.
