hey Drew whats wrong with snakes ? i been playing with them since i was a kid back on the farm. i never had any of the big snakes before but i have caught several out in the wild. had about a 7 or 8 ft water snake in the boat with me on ky lake when i was fishing a bass torn. several yrs ago, that was not planned he dropped in the boat.
