Hello stranger!!!

So I got an incredible surprise today while checking on my fish. Sometime last year I bought a spotted Raphael Catfish from Pet Palace in Clarksville TN. I never saw him after that. I assumed he didn't make it. I've taken out every rock except one since then on several occasions. Today he was swimming around the bottom. It completely blew me away. (not long enough to get a picture) Over 6 months in a tank I look at every day and he finally decides to make an appearance.

I have a plain, no spots, Rapheal Catfish and mine is over 24 yrs old. I got him before moving to Franklin 24 yrs ago and he remains in a 75. I see him about once per month or so. He/she never gets fed any special items either.
I read they are suppose to live 10+ yrs, so mine has achieved that for sure plus the +.
No idea why he/she hasn't passed on to the Aq. in the sky.

This would be a good fun poll question. You all be thinking about how long your longest fish has survived for you in all the years of fish keeping and I'll pose that question in a poll later.

just remember not all of us have been keeping fish for 20+ yrs. Im only a little over 2 yrs now.
