Hey all, I am looking for a stand for a 55 gal tank. Let me know if you know where there is one, preferably a cabinet type with doors, not iron or metal. Thanks!

I have one but it has a 55 on it so it's a set. Sorry. No stand alone. Like Brian said, you can build one pretty easy from 2x4's with deck screws and then stain or paint, or even leave natural. Check Craigslist, Amazon, and E-bay also.

I actually have been looking at that but you realize that it is in Columbia? That is like 2.5 hours away. I drive a Yukon, not so much a gas saver. I haven't yet contacted them but I have been looking every night. So I guess I should have been clearer about that when I posted this, I have cruised through Campbellyardsales and craigslist and was hoping to find someone that had a spare for cheap or I dunno what. I also found this one nashville.craigslist.org/for/3036098845.htmlAnd it is still available, I contacted him. I was hoping to have a matching set. I really like the cabinet stand and the light he has looks like a decent one, if it works right I sure am glad that someone has noticed that I am handy. I do all repairs around the house from plumbing to car engine stuff, but I get no props around here. John wouldn't let me use his drill press yesterday for my pipe project no faith.. But thanks for acknowledging it Brian

I found one, it's great. My husband said "but it doesn't match the rest of the furniture" He is being such a hard a@#... I just suggested that I build one, and he would rather buy one "I guess"....He still hasn't said no to my asking for this, but he sure is dragging his feet to stall me nashville.craigslist.org/for/3064174660.html

Hey STEVE! That looks like a great deal!! Refer to post above your last post. I wondered your opinion, which was why I linked it. Glad I'm not the only one that thought it was a good deal. I have to drive to Lebanon to pick it up, hopefully Sunday
Regards, Therese

I have a 55gl black canopy, stand, tank, glass tops, and lights that I'll let go for that price too. Mine is solid mdf, not pine like this one. The tank is old and has some scratches but still looks decent. Let me know if you are interested I can send pictures.

Odd looking top, IMO, and based on what I have seen before, but still looks very nice. I would pursue this if I were you. Let us know if you get it and all about it. Definitely an attractive set-up.
