I am confirmed to pick it up tomorrow. Signde, I wished you had offered yours up before, I would have bought from a member before any stranger for sure.

Sorry I saw this too late. A friend of mine has a stand and canopy for a 55. Asking $50.00. Pine. Looks good. Big But here; It's near Parsons TN. He just called me about it Mon. or Tues. I just don't have the extra right now.

$100 dollars doesn't sound bad at all for that set-up.
Also, Finaddict, a member on this forum, has a metal 55 gallon stand that I think he's wanting to sell if anyone is interested.

Oh how the dis agreements have already begun. Seems that my perfect placement of this new tank is not so perfect for the hubs. Now I am back to having a tank in the office, which I was trying to reduce. Oy vay, why are men so difficult?

You got to think of w a way to stock that tank to get him interested. Is he into sports? If so try to stock it with fish that have the colors of his favorite sport team. Just an idea.

Well, unless there are gun fish or motorcycle fish, that ain't gonna work for him!!! He isn't a sports guy. The idea here with this size tank was to reduce the 2 office tanks by combining them into one, it would give me more space to play with my plants set up and I can have more species in this community tank. He made valid points, because my location is on a wall that has an outside door that opens in, and the other end of the tank would cover a vent that has a raised designer vent on it. Sooooo, he is right. It just sucks because I wanted to be able to sit on the couch and view my tank! Damn him...Now I will have to sit in the office chair, which is not as comfy..
This was brewed from your suggestion, yes. I would not have pursued it had you not talked to me about it. The offering of the tank was the seed to all of this! I was also thinking I might convert my 46 gallon into a multi tank, but that hasn't been thought out quite yet. I haven't researched them enough to make that decision...
