Hey All,
after thinking long and hard about cichlids, and the direction I am headed with the hobby I think it’s time to let you all know that I will be making a few changes to the way I do things. I have been researching CARES, and talking with a lot of hobbyist that are out there, and I have decided that I will no long be ordering and selling fish for personal gain! I think I got what I needed out of that part so far it helped be build ,and pay for the fish room, the fish I wanted to breed ,and helped me get involved with the right people I needed to in the hobby! This does not mean in no way if you need some help finding some hard to get fish ,or want to do a big order of fish that I will not be here to help you get those fish at the best price out there! I have made really good friends in the industry that I can order fish at wholesale prices from them whenever I need to. I myself will not be stocking as much fry in my tank no more though… Because to do so I have to use all my tank space for holding tank , and can’t do the part of the hobby I love the most! Which is breeding rare, and hard to get fish? Stuff no one has, or can get their hands on.
I can also still order you Wild caught fish from time to time I will post and let people know when I am doing an order to see if people want to split shipping, and get some nice wild fish cheap!
So where am I going with all this? For me (Its marks fault! Lol) I want to help people in the hobby get stuff that they can’t find in pets shops! Cheap! So to be able to do this I have to breed my own fish and only offer the fish when they are available! Not only will people from the club be getting rare fish (like Trigs) but so will club members from other sites that are a part of BAPS I really think Baps would be an awesome program and 110% support it! What better way to keep a hobby alive, and get people on board with cichlid, and fish keeping…
In doing this I regret to say I will no longer be a sponsor on MCC, but I will still be a huge part of the forum! There is some good that comes out of this you will still be able to get fish from me but I no longer will be trying to make a big profit off of it! I will just be breading my butt off and the fish I sell will only be to help me keep my hobby up and going. To help pay for food, supplies, the time dedicated to getting the fish to breed ! So a fish that I would normally sell for 15$ you will be able to pick up (when the grow out) for only 5-10$ And more than likely free if you’re a part of BAPS, and a Paid Club Member.
The only part of BAPs that will be a pain for me is logging everything! lol not something I do much of.

. The biggest problem with those assorted Mals though is that they're comingled and not identified at the average pet store
