WOW, so I have no clue what i am doing right now with this camera besides how to put it on macro mode! lol.. I think i got a Awesome Deal for only paying 210$ I got a D70 With 18-55 Lens it only had 10,000 clicks on it! so is like brand new! I tried taking a few Pics! and WOW what a Differance having a good camera, and lens Makes.... Here are some shot i took really fast just to see how they would look. I am very happy so far! My Cyprichromis Micro Sibwesa Cyprichromis Katete My frontosa Kingoma (This is UNO ) He just has awesome color IMO My MOBA Frontosa 1.5" the color in them is so awesome!!!

looking good.
a recommendation - try without the flash. use the lowest f stop you can, with your lens i'm assuming f2.8 or f3.5. set shutter about 1/250. use the highest iso possible. move the lights to the front of the tank and only shoot when the fish are under the lights. i fake mine out like i am going to feed them then rush back to snap pics.
just something to try. i'm not a fan of the built in flash even when taken at an angle.

Thanks for the tips I will try them out for sure. Yeah Iagree about the flash I will be getting a remote one soon ,and build a box like Jon had once I figure out how to build one LOL!
Jon, Take some pic of you box and post them please =) also what type of bulb was on it =) thanks.

Great pics! The flashbox is a piece of gutter from home depot with 2 ends. Then you cut out a spot for 2 light fixture switches and add plug. You then get to slave bulbs and put them in turn power on and shoot.
Just type slave bulb, or slave flash into amazon and they will come up. Brand doesn't matter, they run about $20.
