Sounds exciting, you can do about whatever you want with one that size

Exactly Jon!!! If you still have some of those larger cichlids in your garage I can take some off your hands soon if you are still needing the room. ;-)

Good! Oh....have you ordered that poret foam yet? I'm not in a super rush but if you are still going to soon that would be great.

How much did you want? I was planning on doing a group order but so far you are the only person to show any interest. I can order some for us whenever, I need some for my box filter.

Can you say about time? ?... lol. Seriously, we'd love to see some pics of it when you get it up and going. I bet it's going to be a beauty.

About damn time is right! ha...
Jon, I'm not sure how large each piece is. I know I want it in my big eheim canister, and likely for the smaller 2217's as well. I'm also kind of curious what it would do in hob's. If water would still be able to get through it ok without the added push of a motor.
(Are you ordering both the fine and coarse types of foam?)
Are you going to be around this weekend? Sat afternoon maybe? I have tank space for some of those bigger ones before moving into the 180. We could talk about the poret then as well.

It is not, I won't get it until after new years. It is kind of pricy, but the best on the market.

I'm sitting here watching a movie and looking at the new tank. I moved my 5 fronts into it yesterday. It now has the fronts(have had), a small royal pleco(new), a silver arowana(new), a chocolate cichlid(new), and a another one I can't remember at the moment. Jon, its that gorgeous metallic blue fish I got from you the day your filter burned out. Blue ahli maybe?
It looks so empty. I'm still going to come over for some of your bigger ones in the garage.
I really love it.
I'll take some pictures in daylight, I get way too much glare at night.

Remember, now, the fronts are gonna get huge. The arowana is going to get gigantic. The chocolate will be probably 8 inches at least. it might not look very full now but they're gonna grow! Do you have places to move some of them out when they outgrow the tank? Although, if you don't you just have to pick something up! Never mind!

Indeed I do. ;-)
I know the fronts should be 12"-15" and the arowana 36" or so if its a big tank kept one. I have an empty 125 in my garage that eventually I'll setup. Plus the 90 in my son's room is pretty sparse now with some of the bigger ones being brought into the 180.
I love thinking about what it will look like in 6 months.

Two bad photos to follow. My tank is still a work in progress. My big ehiem was leaking until I bought some plumbers tape tonight. Working nicely now. It will go underneath once it runs all night with no leaks. Still some painting to do, as you can see from the pink insulation underneath.
