so with mbunas what should there diet consist of... seems like there always a few opionins on this and i got some people telling me one thing and others another?

Their food should have less than 40% protein. Mbuna can have very occasional brine shrimp but none of the worms and stuff. They need veggies. Spirulina is a good food for them and Jon sells some green pellets that my fish will fight over so that's a plus. A lot of the hobbyists give green veggies like zucchini and frozen peas and lettuce. I keep meaning to try it but honestly haven't yet, but mine get veggie flakes, omega one cichlid flakes, and the green pellets from Jon. The tropheus get only green. The mbunas I switch up their feedings between the three.
