75% on everything and or inflation from printing money.
The law is not the killer problem by itself. It is terrible, but I believe if you can afford health care you should have it. Problem is the court says government has power to say you have to buy a certain product or face penalty from government. This is not constitutional, and five of the nine best legal minds in the country don't see it.
I take that back, they see it, but they don't care.
I am not a republican, or conservative. I think pot should be legal. No wore than beer and it would cut 50% of narcotics profit and add to taxes. Won't happen because you can grow it. That is why it is illegal, no other reason.
Other social issues(if it happens in your bedroom, not goverments business if you aren't hurting anyone. And I could go on and on. Point is, some of Europe is doing this and look at Greece, Spain, and Italy.
France just passed a 75% income tax on wealthy.
Also, amnesty for illegal immigrants wasn't put in budget for health care bill. And it will swing vote in florida, texas, and Arizona pushing elections to democrats from here on.
I could be wrong on all of this, but it is documented here so I can come back in five years and check out my prophecy.
Once again, I don't hate Hispanics because I don't think 13 million people should not get amnesty. My wife is hispanic, so my son is 50%, and I love them both and I love her culture.
I know this is not fish related but I had to vent before I broke a pencil.

The Bush tax cuts will not be renewed by our dictator. On 1-1-13 we can all enjoy huge new taxes while oil companies pay 4% taxes. EVERY ONE OF US PAYS MORE THAN THAT! My health insurance is now $24 a day. I've played fair all of my life and this newest round of taxation will change that. I know the game and will act a lot differently when it comes to accounting, receipts and expenses. I'll still abide by all laws but will leave NO deduction unused, will use cash out of pure defiance and won't donate a damned thing (well, except fish LOL) to anyone or any entity. Game on.

The big lie. It was sold to us as not a tax. See video in barack's own words. Lies start at 3 min mark. In story below it was ruled constitutional because it is a tax. The entire country was lied to. Our leaders are liars. All respect for any of them is gone. In a victory for President Barack Obama, the Supreme Court upheld his signature health care law's individual insurance mandate in a 5-4 decision , upending speculation after hostile-seeming oral arguments in March that the justices would overturn the law. The mandate has been upheld as a TAX, with Chief Justice John Roberts, a Bush appointee, joining the liberal wing of the court to save the law. full story below. m.yahoo.com/w/legobpengine/news/blogs/ticket/supreme-court-issue-obamacare-decision-135554880.html?orig_host_hdr=news.yahoo.com&.intl=US&.lang=en-US

yeah, if only we had a First Amendment still. Speaking against the Leader and Government was a crime in Nazi controlled Germany also, nice to know where we are headed.

i hate discussing politics and my views are usually completely contrary to the majority of tennesseans.
regardless of whether you agree with him or not, calling obama a dictator and comparing his administration to nazi germany is a bit much. he is an elected official doing what he was elected to do: run the country how he sees fit. sure you can disagree with that, but he isn't doing anything any other president before him has done.
disclaimer: i do not know enough about both sides to either be for or against the ruling.
anyway, i wish i would have bought stock in healthcare companies this morning.

That's problem with political system. Bill was 2,600 pages long and brought for a vote before it could be read. In video, Obama states several times it is not a tax, and then approved by court because it is a tax.
Overall I don't care about politics because I think it is one group. But I do like ruffling feathers when I am told taxes won't be raised if you make under 200,000 a year and then the biggest tax in the history of the world is put on that group.
The mandate or tax only applies to those that make less than $200,000 because most that make over that already have insurance.
With politics and religion, nobody agrees. I am sure there are members here the law may benefit. It won't be me.
So I don't think he is Hitler, I think he is ponokeo.

Maybe Dictator is the wrong word...Do you prefer "King"? He wants to rule without congress, here is one of many links stating that www.gopusa.com/news/2011/12/31/obama-decides-he-doesnt-need-congress/I won't waste bandwidth citing similarities with with other dictatorships-I mean kingdoms. Don't forget, Hitler disarmed the Jews prior to his other plans, but he was just a dictator, not a King. Registration preceded the confiscation, as registration has done every other time in history. And we can vote all we want, our electoral college system invalidated the popular vote long ago. I don't expect you to agree, us constitutionalists are not in the majority so maybe our founding fathers were all wrong. Remember, only 2% of our population wanted independence from the Limeys and it was accomplished anyway. I'd rather talk and think fish, but today's 5-4 decision by the USSC will bring huge changes and not good ones for the working class. 10-11 million illegal immigrants here and 12 million unemployed Americans. Coincidence? I think I'll go feed fish, have a beer and join the other ostriches by putting my head in the sand.

comparing an elected president to hitler? i can't even get my head around that line of thought. it's great to debate and have an opinion but what bothers me is people who merely have opinions on the matter that presume to know how this will shake out or the long term effects. that is very presumptuous. the sheer amount of "experts" on facebook today made made me want to log out of the internet and never log back in ever again. pretty much nailed it. unless you have a ph.d in economics and/or are the ceo of a healthcare company, i really don't think most people are qualified to say how it will help or hurt the american population as a whole. even if it personally impacts you, you can't speak for the general population.

I look at it this way. It has been tried in many other countries and has not worked anywhere. If you can name one country with a single payer system that has low unemployment,Low taxes, quality healthcare and no rationing of treatment. It does not exist. The largest tax increase in history is about to take place and thats not counting the Obamacare tax.
