I'm a practitioner and hope everyone looks forward to increase in office visits, medical stays ect... Health care workers wages will be cut and we will have a shortage or health care professionals due to simply not being a able to afford to pay back student loans!! Med school avg $250,000. Wages could go down to $100,000 a year who wants to go to school for 8+ years a quarter of a million dollars in debt and have government limiting everything!! All I can say is good luck people, we are going to be in for a wild ride!!

My Daddy shared many pieces of advice with me before his death last year and one of them that will stay with me pertains directly to this subject. He said, "everyone has opinions and ideals, and yours are unique to you." He added, "it is unwise to get into a great debate on some items; ie: abortion, religion, politics, sex, or money, as these and many other subjects will never be settled issues and there will always be two or more opinions or sides to them."
I have personal feelings on this healthcare deal that we call Obamacare and I have opinion on the Supreme Courts stand on it, and being in the healthcare field all of my adult life, I too feel that this is a poor move for our country and its members. Rights for all provide no rights to anyone, IMO. And,...IMO, any government is a broke government until they take money in order to redistribute it. A gov't of any kind or of any size, even the gov't of our little club here, is only taking money to re-distribute out to the mass for other things. Not all will be satisfied with all the decisions. That's just the way it is. I do like the majority rule ideal, and think maybe this should be brought before the people and to a vote, instead of being handled in Washington DC.
But on this subj. of healthcare, both Fox and CNN yesterday, of which I watched both, reported that 55% of numerous polls of folks don't want Obamacare, yet it remains. The people are not being given the choice, yet they have to take what is handed to them. Again, a vote, might be in order.
One more thing worth considering,.............Supreme Justice Roberts re-wrote the words tax into the decisions of the court, of which Obama and several others have adamantly reported to have said is not the case. It is poss. that Justice Roberts appears as a turncoat for a reason. Maybe, just maybe, Obamacare won the battle yesterday, but with the courts wording of tax, the war will be won in November with a change of leadership. Rich and poor alike don't like new taxes that take money from their budgets, pockets, and family's. Ofcouse we must remember, that the Republican ticket nominee is wanting to have his own form of this same type bill, so this issue is not over, and may never be.
Just a few of my thoughts on these subjects. None of my comments make me right or absolute, as none of yours do. We are only sharing thoughts and opinions in this thread. To each their own, and we'll have to wait to see what is next among the players in this big political game.
