Wondering who is going to the ACA convention? My wingman and I will be in the convention hotel by 3pm Thursday. Impo'tant and high falutin' bidness meetings and some consumption of high quality beer top the priority list. Oh yeah, and probably some flagrant and wanton fish mongering! Bring your waders, the BS is gonna be deep. And just to offend the hardcore cichlid folks, I already have some Synodontis purchases pre-arranged (Clarias and Batensoda, woo hoo). If you haven't been, this is THE place to mine for your dream cichlids. They will be there, just looking for new homes. This is truly a relatively nearby convention, next year's is in Denver (bring your gang colors and your gat). The 2014 one is rumored to be on the East Coast again. The convention hotel is overpriced but there are many other lodging choices nearby. Come one, come all! ....If this is mis-posted or a duplicate, feel free to move or remove it

Where is it this yr. Scott ? I don't see that in your post.
I have been to two, but none recently. You are correct, the aquatic selections are tremendous. And,...the sponsors are worth going to talk to, just all by themselves !

It's in India-no-place. Well, the map says Indianapolis but it's a mis-spelling. July 12,13,14,15. The Auction starts at 10:30 AM Sunday, bring your wish list, you can check it off one by one. www.aca2012indy.com/wordpress/

Brian. You mentioning being in the army reminds me that I read something in a Readers Digest recently that made me laugh and think of you. Giving credit to them I will try to retype it here for you, since there is no place else to really put it.
The military is known for their acronyms. These are a few not known to all.
ARMY - Not ready to be Marines yet. LOST -Looking over strange terrain. MARINE - Muscles are required, Intelligence not essential. MRE- Meals rejected by the enemy. NAVY - Never again volunteer yourself.
Gotta make you smile !
