I met with the manager of hospital today to see if they would let me set up a display tank in lobby. I plan to do one over 125g with canopy sump moonlights etc.
This will be different than donation tanks because I plan to get it either new or in near mint condition. What I will need is help maintaining tank. If anyone wants to help with cash, that will be appreciated, because it may be a large chunk of change. I may donate the tank at my house, but I was hoping to go bigger.
I will be in contact with other pet stores and the zoo to see if I can get donations. Hospital said I should get a response by next week.
I took this on spur of the moment today, and I am committed to it if even if it is a one man show. I saw a lot of terminal kids today and I think a large colorful tank might brighten a few spirits

Im in bro for the remainder time i have around here. Ill make be able to donate weekend trips to do maintenance if need and what not. Wont beable to donate any money right now but am willing to help out any other way

I work at VCH so I'll put in a word and see if it help us get somewhere. I think it would be a great addition to our facility!

Not sure what kind of set-up you are thinking but I would definitely be willing to donate what I can. Like a nice large piece of driftwood or something.

I will get a need list together if it all comes together. I am sure they have money, but I told them I would make it happen free of charge. I am confident that I will get plenty of help here.
Also be thinking of teachers for donation tank. I will ask my sons school when it starts but we can do another ad well.

I remember that once upon a time there was a 55 in the waiting area of the ER. Does it remain, to your knowledge ?
Your proposal is to add this one to the 2 story main lobby,....... correctly written ?
Jon, why were you @ Vandy Childrens ? Sick child ? Sick friend ?
Ask another way;...there because of illness, or was your visit for the purpose of setting up this tank ?

My son had an appointment for nothing serious, but I saw kids there that had serious problems. If I can make this work, my new plan is to give them the 125 at my house with everything. I then will put some type of donation bucket on top. When or if I get donations to get bigger and badder tank, I will get mine back. I would really like to do one like the 350g I have with peacocks, haps and some tangs.
