Calvus/Comps dying

I have had several comps/calvus die off one by one very slowly. It looks like they're starving to death but I have seen them eating, even up until they are so skinny they can barely swim. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? I have fed them the anti-parasite medicated food but it doesn't seem to help at all.

Sounds like internal parasites. I usually treat with several rounds of parasite clear. But most of my fish are pretty tough and can take aggressive treatments. Best let someone with tang experience chime in before you do anything.

+1 to what he ^ said. With all animals, the parasite med must be different form previous treatments/treaters, the different meds simply treat different parasites. Over medicating or multiple meds given at the same time will likely result in the death of the host-by medication stress or by killing all of the parasites species at once.
JD, I used parasite med for goats on my remaining Lamena, he is fat, happy and doesn't look baaaaa-d at all

Metro flake + clout

i've always read clout or metro for bloat and metro for other internal parasites and this sounds like internal parasites to me

Where is the best place to pick up the metro flake and clout? Are these two meds safe for pleco's?

How are they doing?I have metro and may have clout. They also sell meds at petsmart or most other petstores that have that in ingredients. You can get a small vile on foster smith or big als.
