what kind of food do you feed your plecos? what kind of veggies do feed you plecos? and how do you prepare it?

I have just been dropping in raw zucchini stabbed with a fork. I don't typically have luck with plecos across the board, but the zucchini and having natural driftwood in their tanks seems to be working so far with the current two I have.

Ben i have about 40 to 50 adult breeders and i use the zucchini , romain lettice a few yellow squash and one day a wk i give them alge waffers with alot of wood in their tank and a 50% water change every wk. im no pro at this but what im doing seems to work so like the old saying ( if its not broken then don`t fix it )

i have used all three in my tank and they love it. any one use anything diff. any fruits or diff veggies

Mine love English peas. Boil them for 3 minutes, let cool, and peel the outer layer of, then put theme in the tank and they drop like a rock.
I also feed mine spirulina flake, veggie flake, shrimp flake, and algae wafers. I also feed them Ken's sticks, especially the one's in the cichlid tanks. I drop them in after lights out, so that they will drop quick and the cichlids won't see them hopefully.
