Hello all.
Well, to make a long story short and to a point, LoL, my family and I went on vacation for over a week and I had a borrowed laptop and got on the forum only a few times that week. Upon returning home we had a storm to move over us and lightning hit and ran into our house and blew out/burned our circuit breaker box and many of our electric items in the house, including our computer.
We had to move into the in-laws for several days while we worked with the Ins. co. on how to handle all the various claims and electrical repairs.
I got our computer back yesterday. Almost 2 weeks ! Only got the T.V. back mid last week. It took days and days, even after the power circuits were restored to have appliances repaired and/or replaced. It was a nightmare to say the very least.
On top of all that I found myself sick a week back and ended up in the E.R. and was diagnosed with double pneumonia and had to spend a few days in the hosp. getting respiratory therapy and I.V. antibiotics, then took a few more days off work.
Having no computer @ home and not @ work with access left me unable to talk to any of you.
We had one of our son's to move off to college during all of this too.
So,...you can see it has been a rather busy 2-3 weeks for me.
It is going to take me a few days to catch up to try to read what all I have missed.
Our quarterly officer board meeting is now behind schedule and we will need to get it planned and announced soon so any of you that want to attend can do so.
I have been in touch with Scott via phone and know that the BAP program is all written and ready to be voted upon via the officers and implemented for all of you to enjoy and participate in, if desired, beginning with the fall swap/meet, which also needs to be planned.
On that subject, we currently have no location to have our fall swap/meet.
I will be writing specific P.M.'s &/or personal e-mails to a few of you asking you for help with this issue so be looking for those letters. If any of you have suggestions, feel free to post them in this thread or another or contact me.
As I said, our home computer has now been re-built and is @ home, but today was my first day back to work in almost 3 weeks, and a busy EMS day @ that, and I am on the work computer now.
I will have to hook the home computer back up and am holding my breath that it will work properly. The Ins. co. had us to send off some of our items for repair attempts before being willing to replace them and the comp. was one of several.
Hope it will work tomorrow.
I appreciate those of you who contacted me to see if I was OK and I appreciate your patience with me and your officers who seem to have taken a hiatus in working diligently for you and your club.
I don't know what all the board has done over the last few weeks in detail, but will get myself back up to speed and be in touch with all of you soon.
Respectively,
Rick Easterly

BTW,...I always send personal greeting e-mails and P.M.'s to all new forum register members and to all forum members on their birthdays, and I know I have missed several of you.
I will attempt a catch up of this as well.
If I miss you as I attempt my catch up over the next few days, please write to me personally to let me know because I will have no idea otherwise.
Thanks so much.
Rick
