They look like discus han's fish.

I had a few of them that I was breeding but lost interest after two spawns. Too much work with daily water changes with the fry and the pairs. I was using RO water for spawning and raising the fry because my PH is 8.2 out of the tap. Sold them to a guy in Hendersonville and the fry to a store in KY. I think the guy in Hendersonville still has the pairs.

Thanks everyone. The top picture is a Hans discus the others are not. Raising discus fry and juvies is a rediculous amount of work. I understand why you gave it up Joe. My tank has a couple of pairs that lay about once a month or so. I've pulled the eggs before and raised a few but it is not worth the work. I just leave them now and don't mess with it.

If you are intereted in trying to raise some I can pull the next batch of eggs for you if you want. It's no big deal to get them out if you want to try them from the egg stage. They will never get to free swimming in my community. The water is too hard and the other fish stress out the parents and cause them to eat the eggs. I have pulled them before and successfully raised some. It is a ton of work though.
