It is 2650 square feet, indoors, comes with tables and chairs, kitchen with fridge, cooler, ice machine. Also comes with a projector to hook computer up to for presentations. All for $35 per hr. Outside for kids and others that get dragged to these events, there is a huge playground that was closed for remodel last time. It is now open and nicer than ever. Also a small playground for little kids. Outdoor and indoor basketball and tennis. also has a walking trail To bad it is 5 miles from Metro Nashville

This is a great place to have an event. Used to go to Pow wow's there and it was great because there's very little traffic and good parking. From the pics, they have made a lot of improvements since, not that it was bad before, but the playground is especially nice for a bunch of rowdy kids. I'm not a full member of this club, but I think this would be convenient for most people and an enjoyable outing for the entire family.

Have not heard from Rick since last post here. If you were on his investigative swap location team, we need to know if you have found a place. Someone contact Rick and let him know we are going to proceed on with current location if he does not have another location secured so we can have a vote.
Times this location has open is Oct. 7 and November 5 from 1-5pm, I think Oct. 7 is too soon so we may have to shoot for Nov. date, but I am fine with either if it works out better for everyone else.

Sorry for delay folks. Have had some really intense issues with one of my grown children lately having to do with some illegal activity and drugs and have had to handle some intense family issues, so my time has been spent with family and not the club over the last few days/weeks. I realize we all have dynamics in our lives besides fish and I hope you understand mine without me going into further details, as sometimes things that happen to us and our families can be rather stressful and embarassing, to say the least.

This is a terrific spot if you all want to have it here (Mt. Juliet), but I have found a similiar spot in Nashville available on several different Saturdays in Oct. and Nov.. It is @ the Easley Community Center @ Rose Park off 8th Ave. S., in Nashville. The facility, indoors, just like the location in Mt. Juliet, w/ a kitchen, tables, and chairs, and a playground nearby, w/ free parking is available. They tell me it is free if we use it during their regular hours. On Sundays they are closed. On Saturdays they are open only from 8a. until 1p. If we want to use this facility and we want to use it after 1p. on any given Saturday we must pay $50 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Knowing many of you travel from out of town I don't think it would be feasable/prudent to have a get together beginning @ 8 a.m. Thus,...if you would like to consider this Nashville facility I would suggest we have it from 11a. until 3 p. for $100.00.
After a search by myself and several of your fellow club members this is the closest thing to meet our needs in the Nashville city limits that has been found to date. The future search can continue for a Nash. location other than this, but this is it for now.
We can either put this to a club member vote, a forum user vote, an officer vote, or whatever.
As Jon has said, we need to decide ASAP and book a location now, so what ever you all say over the next day or so is fine by me.
Please post here your comments/thoughts/suggestions/remarks/etc...

I will drive by it today, if if is $100 and not over run with homeless, I am fine with it. If it is $50 an hour, wouldn't it be $200.
I am sure you are upset with your son, but more Americans than not have experimented. If it was pot, that should be legal anyway. Anyway, I know a lot of successful people that have made drug mistakes of every type, and for all of them it was just a phase. Problem is when you get it on your record. So do whatever it takes to get it off his record.

I'm not opposed to 8a. til 1p. for free, but I am only about 30 min's away. Those who have to drive a while, prob. won't like the early hour. Glad you saw the reason for the amt. that would be due. The $100.
Thanks so much Jon, for offering to drive by. Please see my staff post about the paperwork trail if you see it to be a decent location.
