I would hate to be the guy that had the last 4 of something. I could see the thermostat on my heater going out.
What do you think about keeping "Wild" C.A.R.E.S. fish? Is it better to save them from destruction, or is it worse to remove them from the place they are endemic to?

I don't think there is a good answer to the question. Once habitat is destroyed, whether fish survives or not, it is basically over in my eyes. It is a valiant effort to try, but once you get to point where only surviving fish are in aquariums, the war is all but lost. It is a shame because Victorian cichlids are beautiful fish.
