Starting a new thread regarding everyone's thoughts regarding this past weekend's MCAA swap and meet.
Thanks to Tim for the pictures posted in another thread, and another big thanks to everyone who came out and supported the club. Especially Eric and Jen for opening up the avenue for us to secure the location.
I thought the venue and its proximity to a major interstate was great. Easy to find, extremely clean, tables and chairs included, good kitchen and restroom facilities, lots of parking, and a feeling of seclusion yet extremely close to many retail outlets that we might have used if we had to run out and get anything.
Several club and/or forum members were unable to come at the last minute, but we had a good representation and several people who came from both sides of the state to be involved. Really cool!
My hope is that we can continue to use this venue and build upon our attendance at the next swap. The board hopes to announce a date for the spring swap within the next few weeks, so we can be preparing for a bigger and better swap just a few months from now.
Each of these swaps has been a learning experience and we hope to continue improving them. Any other pros/cons about the location, things we could do better in the future, etc?

I had a blast. It can always be bigger and better, but I think the location is a keeper. Auctioneer sucked, I think someone spiked his drink.

I thought it was great to come and meet the people I did. I hated we couldn't stay longer but had a prior commitment that evening. So we had to leave early. I'm looking forward to the spring one. I missed the auction.
