Greetings fellow MCAA club members and forum users:
This thread is being created and will remain open for one (1) week in order for you to nominate yourself or another for an MCAA officer position for the calendar year of 2013.
Your current officers are as follows
Jon Carman-----------Board member
Rick Easterly----------President
David Lewis-----------Vice President
Jess Puffenbarger----Secretary
Ben Gates-------------Treasurer
*Myself and David are interested in retaining the positions we currently hold and you can consider this opening post in this thread to nominate ourselves for the roles/positions we currently retain.
*If you want to nominate yourself or another to challenge either of these two positions you are free to do so.
*Ben and Jessica have stated they want to retire their positions, so both the Treasurer and Secretary positions are open for you to run for as well.
*Board members are not elected. They are previous sitting Presidents, so there is no need to nominate names for a board member position.
*If only one(1) name appears in the nomination thread one (1) week from now, then that name is automatically named as the officer of that position for the following calendar year, in this case, 2013.
*If more than one (1) name is nominated for a given position, then the voting thread will be created one (1) week from now for a run off by all members in good standing, at the time.
*Remember too,....If your dues are not current, you will not have a vote a week from now, if a vote is warranted at that time.
*Now for the policies of our club,...................
You must be a good standing member, meaning your dues are paid up to date, to hold an office, and you must have been a club member in good standing for at least 6 months or more to hold an office.
*Remember though,.....any forum user or club member can nominate anyone who holds the correct criteria for any office.
*Also please note, that the election will occur via poll in this board via vote, one (1) week from now, and will remain open for one (1) week, just as this nomination thread will remain open for one (1) week. ( If needed)

board. If you need guidance to find them, let someone know, and you can be directed to them.)
