I've always wanted fronts from the very first time I saw one. I've had a couple burundi over the years but this is my first colony and my first experience with the gibberosa variant. After a few years of spastic mbuna and overstocked haps/peacocks this is drastically different experience. The fronts are so peaceful and serene. Very majestic.
What's interesting is my comps and calvus which didn't come out much at all with the haps/peacocks now come out and mingle with the fronts. I suppose they appreciate the calmness now.

They look great. I see even more blue now that they are in your tank. Glad I found them a good home. They were getting cramped at my place.

Ryan, changing my tubes recently made the blues pop even more. I remember reading that. What kind specifically did you move to? 8000k? What wattage? My setup currently has 2) 24w 10k t5 and 2) 24w actinic t5.
