So...this is probably old news to some, but I just found out yesterday that the Aquatic Critter opened a sister store in Hendersonville called 7 Seas Aquatics. It's been open since July, but I had no idea. Even though Hendersonville's not much closer to me than Nolensville, I'm still excited. It's a nicer drive and there's more to do out that way. I also found this coupon: link. 50% off all fish until Nov. 11. I think I'm going to go check it out today.

I live a couple miles from there. Been in a few times. They've done it pretty well. It's a good space and everything is clean. Worth a visit. They are getting busier and building clientele etc.

I did go out there today. Took my coupon, and verified that it is good. I had intended on getting a fish, but instead some other things caught my eye and I got those. I got a plant, a snail, and a big piece of driftwood. You're lucky, David, to get to live so close to a nice lfs. I was pleased with the store in general. It was clean, and the guy was very nice. I even took my two pre-schoolers and he took it in stride, and you know that has to be any shopkeeper's nightmare . It's not as big as the Aquatic Critter so it doesn't have the same selection, but I didn't expect it to. I imagine that they could probably get anything you'd want anyway.

They are good guys. Just a matter of getting a steady flow of customers and providing good product and livestock. I wish them well. They also have RO/DI water for sale for the salt and reef guys which is nice.

Magazin (borrowed from a foreign language or languages, see below) - a retailer located in a stationary building equipped for the sale of goods and the provision of services. A building or part of a building occupied by a modern store usually includes both the trading floor itself and utility, administrative and utility rooms and warehouses
