Young pair of wild morph petenia splendida. First time keeping these guys. I got 6 4" ones from cichlidsoftheamericas about 3 months ago. They are now all 7-8". This young pair is putting down a spawn in the flowerpot. I did not expect them to spawn so small. If the eggs look fertilized I'll remove some of the other fish from the tank. They are currently with an trio of Carpintis Escondido's which are also about to spawn, some oglicathus from Madagascar, and 4 ornatum.

This is a young pair of festae. First spawn for this pair. There are wigglers in the pot. This pair is in a 125g with 3 huge red hooks. They are extremely clam and well bonded currently. If the spawn gets to free swimming I'll pull about half of them and leave the rest for the parents.

This is a young pair of paraneetroplus Breidohri. This pair form in a stuffed growout tank and have already spawned twice. Male is only about 4.5" and the femail is maybe 3.5". I pulled the last spawn and have about 200 free swimmers. I'm going to leave them in the growout tank for a while and slowly remove some of the other fish over the next few months.
