Did some redecorating in the big tank. What do you think, better or worse then before. I'm still not used to it but I think it looks much more natural now.

I'm not qualified to say as I use artificial structures with themes. I'd love to have a tank decorated to remind me of each place I've been. The Roman ruins in my big tank together with shells I collected in Spain on the same trip do that for one vacation. A long way to go! But my opinion is, if the fish like it it's a winner.

Thanks everyone. The fish seem to love it so I guess it's a winner. The smaller fish spend a lot of time swimming through the branches.

Did you make the background yourself JD? I think someone may have asked you that before but I don't remember your answer if they did.

No it's just one of the premade sheets taped on the back. It took me forever to find a decent looking one for a tank that tall. They don't make a lot of 30" backgrounds and most of them look terrible. I'm glad I found that one. If I had to do it over again I would probably just paint the back black, but that background looks pretty good for now. I ordered it somewhere online, don't remember were.

All are really just beautiful. I'm sure you have the process down pat by now as often as you do it.

Sean got you some very nice pieces. LOL, thanks Jamie, that cracked me up. Sean defiantely found me exactly what I asked for. Thanks agian for hooking me up with him. Great guy to buy driftwood from. Thanks everyone for your kind words about my tank. It's always a work in progress but I have been pretty happy with this look and plan to leave it and the stocklist alone for a while.
