If you are new to this site, what we are trying to do is start an online community based in middle TN to assist new to advanced hobbyist. Everyone here shares a common love which brings us here and to other similar sites. My goal is to start a local chapter of the ACA and moreover to grow the hobby in this area. Please feel free to introduce yourself here.

;D Hello everyone, I am a 58 year old disabled man. I am learning to keep cichlids. I have quite a few tanks. My wife and I have been doing this for 2 1/2 years. We love learning and trying to keep different fish. I have 3 children, and 5 grand children.

Hi, I'm Jeff, old man of 36. Live in Spring Hill, wife and 2 kiddos. Software analyst(IT guy).
New to cichlids but not to keeping fish. I have one active 55 gallon cichlid tank and another waiting on fish. My active tank has been up about 4 months and is doing pretty well. I have really enjoyed them so far.
I still can't tell you what fish is what or what lake they are from. That will come in time.

When we get about 20-30 people using the site regularly we can start setting up swaps and see what we can do to join the ACA. Roger and I are working on ways to upgrade the site, if anyone has a specialty in this your help would greatly be appreciated.

Oh yeah, I'm in the Smokey Mountains now and I'll get back late Sunday night. I will get to work posting this site on craigslist and hanging out @ Petsmart when I get back. Please be patient if we stick with this, it will grow- If not it will die quick. Talking with a lot of you I know you are as passionate about this as me and I am confident it will work. Thanks to Roger and Joe who are helping out with being moderators.

Hi! I'm Kim, I live in Old Hickory. I have 6 tanks, a 55 gallon community and 5 freshwater shrimp tanks and some Endlers, too. I thought I was the only person in town who had fish tanks, so it's great to find a spot where there are others, too. I hope more people from around here join up.
