Hi All!!
Very happy to have found this forum. My name is Shelly and I live in Pleasant Shade TN and work in Nashville TN. I went from zero aquariams to three aquariams in the last two weeks.
Just bought a 75 gallon tank already set up with African Cichlids - mbuna. The other two tanks I'm 'cycling' (one is a 16 gallon bow front with four zebra danios and the other is a 10 gallon - maybe use for medical purposes if a cichlid gets sick). All freshwater.
I'm hooked !!! line and sinker with this hobby now *smile*
Hope to meet some good people to gain knowledge and share any knowledge I aquire along the way.

I found this forum on Nashville Craigslist , you were advertising your Oct. fish/cichlid swap.
Pleasant shade is North of Carthage - East of Nashville. I like to call it 'in the middle of no where' *smile*. Lots of country roads to horseback ride or ATV ride. One mile to a finger of Cordell Hull Lake = wonderful boating and peaceful kayaking.

Sounds like "Gods Country." I bet it gets dark @ night out there. :-)
We have other members from your direction. Carthage, Cookeville, even over into Knoxville and places inbetween. You aren't as far out as you think. :-)

We are certain that there are other hobbyists that have not found us yet.

Hi Everyone, I am Troy from Franklin, Ky. I have kept fish for most of my life, but have not had a tank for about 6 years  My last tank was a 150 gal with a colony of Mpimbwe blue Frontosa. I am on the hunt for a new set up, and cant wait to get back into it! Excited to have found this place and looking forward to sharing experiences with you guys. |
