I'm finally getting my tank setup in my office. It's a 75 gallon tank. I put eggcrate in the bottom and added a 50lb bag of sand. It covers the eggcrate about 3/4". Should I add more or is this enough? Thanks for everyone's help....

I don't even have that much in there. What fish are going in your tank?

That's more than enough. You just want to make sure you disturb it all when you do a water change where you don't have any dead spots where stuff can build up.

sounds like plenty to me, just do what Jon said to eliminate any air pockets that build up in the sand.
I'm curious, like Angel, as to what will be in the tank. Depending on the inhabitants, you might want more sand.
