I tried stripping my firefish today. She seems so broody I thought her babies might be in there by now and I could take care of them and let her go home. She spit out two big white eggs right away and I stopped. She picked one back up. Now I have one she wouldn't pick up so I have it in a goldfish bowl with methylene blue and an airstone. Should it hatch?

Cool! It looks kinda neat the blue water in the fishbowl. It's one of those antique bowls and it's filled up about 1/3 with water from mama's tank. and an airstone on the opposite side from the egg. It's a big egg! I'm surprised!

Couldn't get her to pick that one up. She may have even known it was a dud. Dunno. But I'm hopeful.
