They look good Jon. JD, about the gold jack, how does one tell if THESE are male or female?

The gold ones are a little more difficult. I generally can tell by looking at there shape or just venting them if it is not obvious. At the age Jon got them the males should already be a good bit bulkier. Post some pics and I might be able to tell. They are not as easy as the regular jacks to sex though.
How are the fish I brought you doing Jon?

Great, JD,
Angel- That's how I tried to sex them, I gave you the biggest and the smallest and with 4 that will usually work.

Will do. As soon as I wake them up. I did read people usually breed them back to regular jacks do you agree that should be done? These are probably hatch mates anyway huh?

I think all of the golds are closely related, but I wouldn't worry about it- I would breed them to either or. JD would be the better one to answer. If you breed them together you should get all golds, or if you breed to a regular you should get some golds and a lot with the gold gene that are regular jacks. Sounds like you have a cool breeding project about to start.
