I think your first two are the same fish, you are right about the tram.

I had a lot of firefish so that's probably them. And I'm glad about being right with the trams. That way I know I still have a lot of them. Thanks Jon!

Great! I'll have them at the fish swap you can get them then. They'll be a little bigger. And cuter.

not sure about the firefish, All of my firefish are born a light pink, (usually a small dark spot on the head but it fades as they grow. I have lots of fire fish fry I can post a pic of if need be.

Then I KNOW ours have to be a different strain. I get several colors. A white one. A silver one. A few yellow-orange ones. A silver blotched one.

I am going to be in your shoes soon Angel, I have about 7 different types of fry in a 30g and I have no clue what is what. I will know when they are an inch or so, but as for now I am clueless. I might have a bunch of unidentified cichlids for sale at the auction.

It's gotten easier. Except that I don't see anything in that tank I can identify as a firefish anymore and I know I had some fry loss. I have a lot of trams and acei. There's the one fulu left. I'm pretty sure it must be the fulu its starting to color similar to them and I did only ever have the one. But there's this other fish . He's like a kind of dark cadet blue and his face is almost white. And he has white and blue speckled fins. He's very small. He's so cute I can't stand it. The only kinds I had in there were firefish, trams, fulu and acei. Don't know WHAT he is.

The guess what fry game is fun though. At least you have something to study in their tank. That's how I see it anyway!

I like the look of the tangerine. I may have to get some of them also. I'm also thinking about some albino firefish
