I had my white top afra spawn, ob peacock, pink peacock, victorian hap obliques, and cherry red zebra. Some were not fully formed yet but I just went ahead and stripped because most were and I didn't want them to become food. Most should be fine, I am looking forward to spawns soon.

Excellent!! Congratulartions!! Pink peacock? I didn't see that! The female firefish spawned again here, and the red zebra released today, the kenyi spawned today the tramitichromis spawned today and a pair of yellow labs are working on it now. Is there a full moon? Actually--I think there is!

One of my yellow labs is holding now. I just put her into her own tank tonight.
Besides putting fine filter material around the filter intake, is there anything else that would be useful? Haven't done much/any breeding, want to see if I can get some baby labs.
Thanks!

you should be good. I would remove the female after she spits and feed them veggie flake powder.

Incredible Jeff! It is too exciting! I just now have my first successful yellow lab fry and only got 4. All the fry I can get from the others and they weren't so easy. You did well!

I have about 20 Yellow Lab fry. I caught 9 of them in this shot. No color yet. My wife says I was happier about this birth than the birth of my two children. It is not true of course ha....
