These are so drop-dead gorgeous! The ones Dennis got from you are full of turquoise but they look different from eachother. One is way smaller and with a darker face. Both beautiful. They don't yet hold a candle to their parents though.

I have a few of the bigger ones that I was going to take to the swap and have a small spawn of about 250 that are 3 weeks old. So it shouldn't be any issue to get you some. Ken wants as many of the small spawn that I can bring him but there will be more soon.
Are you going to make it to the swap?
Angel - glad the ones you got are doing good. They will be huge and mean as hell before you know it ;D. With great color comes great attitude with CA cichlids.

What sort of space are you talking about for these guys? Can they be kept with any other kind of fish?

I have this pair in a divided 90g at the moment. After there first spawn the male got to rough and now has to be completely separate from the female. There is a hole were she can get to him but he cannot get to her side of the tank. He would kill her pretty quickly if he could.
As far as tankmates they can be kept with any of the aggressive CA cichlids and a few of the more aggressive SA cichlids. They are pretty stubborn and like to start fights though. So you need tankmates that will stand up to them but not kill them. Some of the Parachromis seem to be good tankmates for them. Most of the Amphilophus will work as well. Although some of them are a little too aggressive.
I will set a few aside for you Reagen. I'm sure you will have some trade fish I will want ;D.

Well guess what everyone I'm breeding a male red terror cichlid with a female red tiger motaguense cichlid to make a hybrid cichlid pair in call the (RED PHOENIX KING CICHLID๐) as a pair they will live on the left side in a separate tank with a big castle and 4 CLEAR BLUE CRYSTALS. they will guard the castle their babies and the 4 CLEAR BLUE CRYSTALS. the question is will my hybrid cichlid pair keep the castle and the 4 CLEAR BLUE CRYSTALS or will the {evil emperor carprintis Escondido cichlid๐พ} TAKE OVER. Let me know

On the right side of my tank it will be dark with red coral trees and a cave with 1 single evil emperor male carprintis cichlid. Do you think the carprintis cichlid will takeover or will my Hybrid cichlid pair keep their castle.

Here are a couple of pics of my male and one of a small 1.75" fry that I have left from a few spawns ago. The little guy will probably be at the fish swap. They are a stunning fish but my male is highly aggressive. The female is not to bad. Youngin . LETS HAVE A DEBATE YOUR carprintis cichlid vs my male Hybrid cichlid.๐๐๐๐๐HAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAA
