I read a classified for a tank with a cracked plastic frame at the bottom but it was said the glass is fine. Will this cause leakage in the future?

It matters. The plastic frame acts as a brace to support the glass. If it is cracked all the way through, it is useless as a brace and over time it could leak. I wouldn't worry about it, because I have tanks that people said would never hold water, or are ticking timebombs and they haven't leaked yet. Just don't put it over carpet. If it does ever leak, it will be slow- not a blow out.

I'll keep that in mind for future deal-finding. Thanks Jon!
