i have a 3 salt & pepper cory cats in my betta tank...which just got upgraded to a 20 gallon....as i was taking the gravel out i found a newborn cory cat baby!!! i knew the mama was either really fat or preggo....im so disappointed though bc i bet there were more eggs that got drained out!!! i thought they were live bearers so i had no idea to look for eggs!!.... i hope i didnt stress them out too much by moving them i had no idea he was in there hes soooo small!!
it would figure out of all the fish we keep the only thing that i can get to re produce are the catfish! lol....but now ive only got one baby hopefully she will have more

dawwww. Baby cories are so cute. I have some green? ones (not sure what the variety is called). They lay large clumps of sticky eggs all over the tank sides, you can't miss them. We started out with a group of 3 and have about 12 now. But the babies rarely survive. I bet they will like the move--usually ours spawn after a big water change.

Yeah, I don't know enough about cories to know if those hatched, or what happened. I think you can save clumps and raise them. My plecos in that tank like to go up and bother the eggs, maybe them eat some, too. I think if they spawn regularly, though, you will probably get 1-2 survivors a year at the very least, even if you don't do anything.
